Wella Professional’s “Illumina Color”
On the 2nd May Reed Hair was one of the elite Salons to be invited to attend the launch of Wella’s the “biggest colour innovation in 20 years” - Illumina Color, a new range of 20 shades, will launch in July and promises optimum condition, tonality and luminosity.
Co-owner, Jane Williams and Colour Specialist, Faye Meredith agreed that ‘Illumina Colour provides a shine and superior feel that we’ve never seen before. We know our clients are going to be amazed by the results’’
Reed Hair has been exclusively chosen as one of the first salons to stock Illumina Colour………

Training Our Trainers
On 12th May our Training Manager, Faye Meredith, will start her PTLLS Course (PREPARING TO TEACH IN THE LIFE LONG SECTOR)
This course is designed for anyone involved in the delivery of learning. The course is part of the National Qualifications Framework and is set at Level.
The course will enable Faye to:
- Adopt an integrative approach to the theory and practice of teaching and training.
- Reflect on their own previous/current levels of experience, practice and skills, and potential for development.
- Build up knowledge of principles of learning, teaching, assessment and evaluation.
- Develop their own communication and interpersonal skills.
- Develop an awareness of their professional role, the essential value systems which underpin it and the legal requirements for carrying out that role.
As part of our ongoing training at Reed Hair we endeavor to ‘train our trainers’ to the highest levels possible.
Au Revoir Samantha Cox
Samantha our Senior Stylist, leaves us today after working at Reed Hair for nearly five years! Samantha has decided to travel the world, working on the Cruise Ships. She will be surely missed and we hope she stays in touch at all her ‘port of calls’.

Stylist, Abbey, completes her Kerastase Specialist Course.
Abbey will complete her course on 30th-31st May. Abbey will have been educated to understand the needs of your scalp and hair. She can offer a complete personalised hair care service with her in-depth knowledge, ensuring a truly luxurious in-salon experience.

A massive GOOD LUCK to Faye Meredith in the “Wella Trend Vision Competition’ Regional Final! Taking place at the ‘Connaught Rooms’ Covent Garden on 29th May. Everybody is routing for you!
